Play Analysis Input Page

           (BACK)                   (HOME)                (NEXT)

Here’s an example of a portion of the page that is used to capture the inputs utilized in a play analysis. Most inputs are captured with as ranges, with a minimum, maximum, and ‘best guess’.  The estimated size characteristics of future discoveries is captured as a lognormal distribution (with an option to truncate the upper end of the distribution.  Only the green cells need to be populated.  Note that you have the option to capture multiple thresholds, and that you can model whether the ‘play opening’ minimum volume can be found in a ‘string of pearls, or must be in a single, standalone discovery.  The gray ‘hints’ cells contain a wealth of embedded help text.  The other gray cells are auto - calculated.
